“Wonderful host, amazing experience”

If you visit the Mayor’s Mansion, you are in for a treat. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is filled with stunning Asian art. Everywhere you look, there is another beautiful piece to enjoy. So tasteful and extraordinary.
We loved relaxing on the front porch in the evening before going out to dinner. There are a number of fantastic restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient. Dick the owner is a wonderful, natural host and it is evident that he was made for this. His attention to detail is impeccable and you will feel quite at home from the moment you walk in until you reluctantly leave at the end of your stay. He is a great conversationalist and we very much enjoyed chatting with him. He is extremely knowledgeable about Portland and the surrounding area, so we found him to be an invaluable resource for directions, recommendations, and interesting
Breakfast each morning was so delicious and satisfying. Dick made a style of French toast that was so mouthwatering I’m still craving more!
And then there are the beds! The sheets are the softest I have ever felt, and I slept great every night.
The B&B is literally right next to a gorgeous park, so we enjoyed taking a stroll in the mornings to start our day. It’s an ideal location to stay because you have nature on one side, great dining on the other and you’re still just minutes from downtown.
You will be more than pleased if you stay here…we are already looking forward to our next trip back!
